Every supplier — airline, hotel, cruise line, transport operator or insurer — has its own cancellation rules. Our job is to show you those rules before you pay, then execute the cancellation cleanly and chase the refund until it is credited. Below is how it works in practice.
1 — Flights
| When you cancel | What is deducted | What you get back |
|---|---|---|
| Within 24 hours of booking (airline-dependent) | Airline cancellation fee if applicable | Fare and taxes, minus supplier fee |
| More than 24 hours before departure | Airline cancellation fee + any fare difference already applied | Refundable portion of fare + taxes (many taxes are refundable even on non-refundable fares) |
| Within 24 hours of departure | Higher airline fee, sometimes 100% of fare | Taxes only, in many fare types |
| After no-show | Full fare forfeited by most airlines | Taxes only, if claimed within the airline window |
| Our service fee | ₹500 per passenger per ticket | Non-refundable once ticketed |
Low-cost carrier promotional fares and "special fares" are usually fully non-refundable except for taxes. The exact rule is printed on your ticket receipt.
2 — Holiday packages
| Cancellation received | Charge |
|---|---|
| More than 45 days before departure | Deposit forfeited, or 10% of package cost (whichever is lower), plus supplier charges |
| 30–45 days before departure | 25% of package cost plus supplier charges |
| 15–29 days before departure | 50% of package cost plus supplier charges |
| 7–14 days before departure | 75% of package cost plus supplier charges |
| Less than 7 days / no-show | 100% of package cost |
Peak-period bookings (20 December – 5 January, long weekends, festival dates) and non-refundable resort or cruise components can carry stricter terms, always shown in your quotation.
3 — Hotels
- Free-cancellation rates: usually free until 24–72 hours before check-in; after that one night's charge applies.
- Non-refundable / saver rates: no refund, no date change.
- No-show: full stay charged by most properties.
4 — Visa services
Embassy fees, VFS/consulate charges, courier costs and our documentation service fee are non-refundable once an application is submitted, regardless of the decision. If we have not yet submitted your file, our service fee is refundable minus any third-party costs already incurred (for example appointment fees).
5 — Travel insurance
Insurance can be cancelled for a refund within the free-look period stated in the policy (typically 15 days from issuance), provided no claim has been made and the trip has not begun. After that, refunds are as per the insurer's policy wording.
6 — Cabs, buses, trains and activities
- Cabs and transfers: free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup; later cancellations may attract one-way charge.
- Buses: operator-specific — usually 90% refund more than 24 hours before departure, 70–80% between 12 and 24 hours, and no refund under 12 hours.
- Trains: as per Indian Railways refund rules, including clerkage and cancellation charges.
- Attraction tickets and activities: stated per product; many are non-refundable, some allow free cancellation up to 24 hours.
7 — How to cancel and how refunds are paid
Step 1 — Tell us in writing
WhatsApp or e-mail your reference number with the word "cancel". A phone call alone is not sufficient, because suppliers require a written record.
Step 2 — We confirm the charges
You receive a written cancellation summary showing supplier deductions, our service fee and the net refundable amount. You approve it in writing.
Step 3 — Supplier cancellation
We file the cancellation and obtain the supplier's refund confirmation reference.
Step 4 — Refund to your account
Paid to the original payment method. Bank transfers need your cancelled cheque or bank details in the account holder's name.
8 — If you want to change instead of cancel
Date changes, name corrections and itinerary amendments are usually cheaper than cancelling. Send us the change request and we will quote the airline/hotel amendment fee plus any fare difference before you decide.
